Shift: Afternoon Shift (2:30pm – 1:00am, Monday to Thursday)
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience

About the Role

As a Trainee Laser Machine Operator, you will be trained to operate CNC laser cutting machines and support the production team in delivering high-quality sheet metal components. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the operation of CNC laser cutting machines
• Loading and unloading sheet metal materials safely
• Learning machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance
• Checking finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Supporting production targets and workflow efficiency
• Following strict health & safety procedures at all times
• Working closely with experienced operators and supervisors for training and development

About You

• Interest in engineering, manufacturing, or machine operation
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
• Able to work in a physically active, industrial environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• No previous experience required – full training provided
